The Learning Centres spent £60,000 on ebooks at the beginning of this academic year. This means that you now have access to an additional 1,000 ebooks. Fifteen new Toshiba Portege R500 laptops are now available on 7 Day Equipment loan from FCH Learning Centre. All are installed with Windows Vista OS, have 160GB hard drives, 2GB RAM, USB, s400 firewire and SD card connections as well as a DVD drive. They are also wireless enabled.

Did you know that the digitised book chapters and journal articles you access  on Moodle have been scanned and cleared with the Copyright Licensing Agency for you to use by Learning Centre staff? In 2009/10 we scanned 2,183 book chapters and journal articles. So far this academic year we have scanned 1,928 chapters and articles.
